Why is the "Airway" such a hot topic in dentistry these days?
 
The shape of the jaws and face is a major risk factor for sleep-disordered breathing and upper airway flow limitation. Enhancing the path of growth and development can open up breathing spaces. Addressing the habits that influence poor growth is just as important. Dr. Raphael will address both the form and function issues involved in this paradigm shift in modern orthodontics.
 
This is an introduction to the theory of Airway Orthodontics.  It is designed for everyone in the healthcare field.
